Education
Janet was born in Winner, South Dakota. Her family moved to Clarkston in 1964 and then to Colfax in 1969. She graduated from Colfax High School in 1979 and began working at Washington State University immediately.
Working at KUP
Janet started with KUP June 1981 as a receptionist for three years and then went part-time and worked only tax season for another 4 years. She took 3 to 4 years off to raise her family of four, (three boys and a girl), on the family farm in Endicott on Union Flat. She started back up part-time for tax season when her children were in school. Eventually it turned into full-time. Currently, Janet is the computer operator and does accounts receivable.
What Janet does for fun
She has coached soccer, assisted with scheduling of the Whitman County Summer League Baseball Program, and performs secretarial services for her husband when he is coaching basketball and baseball. She enjoys maintaining her yard, water-skiing and water-tubing with her family and collecting teddy bears, which her mother has abundantly supplied.
