Education
Bob grew up in Walla Walla, Washington, which is famous for their Walla Walla Sweet Onions, where he helped his father with the family's onion farm. After graduating from Walla Walla High School in 1971 he attended Walla Walla Community College, where he graduated in 1973. Bob then went on to Eastern Washington University where he graduated in 1975 with a Business Administration major with an emphasis in accounting. Bob is a member of the AICPA and the WSCPA.

Bob lives in Colfax with his wife Debbie. They have three children, two in college and the youngest in high school.
What Bob does for fun
He has coached Babe Ruth, Little League, and American Legion baseball teams, as well as Girls Youth Softball and High School Girls Softball. He has been a member of the Colfax Golf Board, Youth League and the Church Parish Council. Bob enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, coaching and watching baseball.
