Background Information
Education
Janet was born in Winner, South Dakota. Her family moved to Clarkston in 1964 and then to Colfax in 1969. She graduated from Colfax High School in 1979 and began working at Washington State University immediately.
Working at KUP
Janet came to work for Kirkpatrick, Utgaard & Perry, P.S. in July of 1981. She worked full time for three years, part-time for three years and then on an "on call" basis while she was starting a family. In 1998 she came back to work full time during tax season. During the off season Janet works a couple of days a month in which she does the firm's accounts receivable. Janet is the Secretary/Treasurer of the Board of Endicott Parks & Recreation District. She is the treasurer for the Endicott Education Association and a member of the Endicott Community Club.
Family
Janet lives on the family farm with her husband of twenty years, Gary and their four children.
What Janet does for Fun
She has coached soccer, assisted with scheduling of the Whitman County Summer League Baseball Program, and performs secretarial services for her husband when he is coaching basketball and baseball. She enjoys maintaining her yard, water-skiing and water-tubing with her family and collecting teddy bears, which her mother has abundantly supplied.
